What Your GAMCA Medical Result Means
Medical Status | What It Means for Your Travel |
FIT | You are clear! You can immediately proceed with your GCC visa processing. |
UNFIT | The medical guidelines flagged an issue. Do not lose hope. Consult a physician, receive treatment, and prepare for a potential retest. |
PENDING / HOLD | Your laboratory or diagnostic results are still under review. Most reports upload within 24 to 72 hours. |
ABSENT | You did not show up or complete your slot on the scheduled day. |
Your GAMCA medical result indicates whether you have met the applicable medical fitness requirements for your GCC visa.
Fit
A “Fit” result after a GAMCA medical check means the medical centre has recorded you as medically fit under the applicable screening requirements.
You can usually proceed with the next stage of your visa application. Download or save a copy of your medical report and share it with your employer, recruitment agency or visa-processing representative when required.
Final visa approval remains subject to the rules of the destination country and its relevant authorities.
Unfit
An “Unfit” result means the medical centre has found that you do not currently meet the applicable medical fitness requirements.
Contact the medical centre where you completed the examination. The centre can explain the result and provide the appropriate next steps.
GAMCA Booking Now cannot change, remove or override an unfit result. But you can still call us, so we can guide you on how to get the fit result quickly.
Referred or Under Review
A referred or review status may mean that the medical centre requires further evaluation, clarification or an additional test before issuing the final result.
Contact your assigned medical centre rather than making assumptions about the reason.
Absent
An absent status may appear when the applicant has not completed the required examination or has not attended the assigned medical centre within the GCC slip validity period.
Contact the centre or our appointment support team to understand the available options.
When Will Your GAMCA Medical Report Be Available?
The Gulf Health Council regulations require accredited medical centres to issue the medical fitness certificate within a maximum of three days from the medical examination date.
However, your GAMCA medical report status may take longer to appear when:
- Additional medical review is required
- A test needs to be repeated
- Passport information does not match
- Candidate details require correction
- The centre has not completed the upload
- The portal is experiencing a temporary technical issue
If your report is not visible after the expected processing period, contact the medical centre where you completed your examination.
GAMCA Medical Report Not Showing?
Do not immediately assume that your GAMCA medical report result will be unfit. First, check the information you entered.
Confirm Your Passport Number
Enter the passport number without spelling errors, unnecessary spaces or incorrect characters.
Check Your Nationality
The nationality selected on the report checker must match the details submitted during your appointment registration.
Try Your GCC Slip Number
When the passport search does not return a result, use the GCC or Wafid slip number provided on your appointment document.
Check Whether Your Details Need Correction
Sometimes even a typo can confuse. If you need to correct incorrect information such as your passport number, name, nationality, date of birth, or passport dates, it must generally be corrected through the medical centre.
Ask the centre to submit the appropriate candidate-detail correction request.
Contact the Assigned Medical Centre
The medical centre is responsible for conducting the examination and uploading the medical result. Contact the centre directly when the result remains unavailable or contains incorrect information.
How Long Is a GAMCA Medical Report Valid?
A GCC medical fitness certificate issued through an accredited medical centre is generally valid for two months from the date of issue for visa issuance or approval.
Check the issue and expiry dates shown on your report. Try to complete the relevant visa procedures before the certificate expires.
Requirements can also vary depending on the destination country, visa category and issuing authority. Confirm the applicable deadline with your employer, recruitment agency or visa-processing representative.
Why Check Your Medical Report Early?
Completing your medical report check early gives you time to respond if:
- Your result has not yet been uploaded
- Your passport details are incorrect
- The medical centre requests further evaluation
- Your visa representative requires a report copy
- Your medical certificate is approaching its expiry date
Do not wait until your visa appointment or travel date to perform your GCC medical check online.
Keeping a digital copy of your result and appointment slip can also make follow-up easier.
